Theatre writing group

Farnham Playwrights Collective was a loose association of theatre writers with whom Mark Hewitt was involved from 2008 - 2011. Based at
Farnham Maltings in Surrey, the group met at regular intervals to discuss work, also putting on scratch performances of new writing and work in progress.

9 May 2009 lonely spaces
For 'Farnham Creates', a series of short works and durational pieces developed as site-specific theatrical interventions for neglected and overlooked spaces in Farnham Maltings.

8 May 2010 Five Minute Theatre
Four short plays for Farnham Spring Festival 2010 presented in the South Kiln at Farnham Maltings: Pom Pom Runaway by Matthew Wilkie / Just Like Wow by Mark C. Hewitt / The (Lower) Case of the Missing Letter by Sean Tyler / The Clock is Ticking by Rita Wheeler.

January - March 2012 Eat Theatre (theplaygroup)
A series of new plays for the café/bar of Farnham Maltings. Each of the three pieces was written as a two-hander and ran for two nights accompanied by a light meal. The season ran through January, February and March 2012 with each of the plays directed by Joe Douglas.
