Dementia
Diaries
is a live literature / theatre piece for five voices by
poet Maria Jastrzębska. The drama consists of an interwoven
sequence of monologues that take us into the world of a
dysfunctional Anglo-Polish family and their Polish care
worker who is paid to look after the mother and father,
each suffering from a different sort of dementia. Performed
by a cast of British and Polish actors, the story combines
tenderness, despair, moments of surreal humour and
occasional strong language.
