Collaborative cross-artform piece, first performed as 'Purgations"
Text by Mark Hewitt - a sequence of 26 poems set in a barren underworld
Images by Tom Walker - mainly white pastel on black paper projected onto a gauze screen
Music for string sextet by Peter Copley - played live as an integral part of the performance
Texts spoken from inside a dimly-illumined cabin behind the gauze
