I often have dreams with significant buildings. The house
where I grew up has featured often, especially the dining
room with green and orange lino tiles, (this was the 70's
of course).
Also I have a sort of recurring dream, not identical but an
idea that repeats. I'm in a ramshackle and eccentric house,
and I find a really wonderful room or suite of rooms I've
never been in before. Not sure if the house is mine or my
family's but the secret part I discover seems to be mine to
claim. And sometimes the house is quite smart and grand but
the new rooms I find are always a bit ramshackle. Anyway
the main point is that having once found this really
special place I can never find it again!
