I had this dream lots of times when I was a teenager, when I was at college, and a bit later. The dream was of a great big, enclosed man-made space, a bit like a swimming pool. I’d be walking along a suspended pathway which snaked around in the air, a bit like a flume, but straighter than that. And this pathway was a slender catwalk. On this catwalk there were women in front of me and women behind me. As I was walking along I’d be looking at the woman in front and thinking, ‘we’re all too skinny’. Then I’d feel my behind and think ‘Wow. It’s massive’. I’d think ‘Yeah, that’s nice, that’s lovely. Give that a wobble!’ Beneath the catwalk was a sheer drop. There were women in front of me and women behind. So I had to keep my place on the catwalk. There was nothing I could do but keep on walking. I just felt so trapped. But I did enjoy the feel of my bottom.
