. A series of two minute extracts from a new work in progress as part of the 10 year anniversary celebration of Norden Farm Centre for the Arts in Maidenhead, where 1157 is a resident company. Devised and directed by Matthew Scott, the snippets will be performed by Matthew Scott and Mark Hewitt.

After a revision process that has taken over 12 years - a reading before an invited audience of
scrublands - a performance text by Mark Hewitt related to a collaboration with composer Peter Copley and visual artist Tom Walker that was first previewed in 1998.

This scratch performance - which will likely be undertaken with the assistance of creative accomplices - will take place at the The Club Room (Lewes Live Lit Artists' Workspace) on an October date to be confirmed. Expect the use of a flipchart, OHP and possibly even a glamorous assistant. Anyone interested in attending should e-mail to request an invitation.
